Brash Spot

If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that the fastest way to turn kids away from books is to treat them like idiots, bore them senseless, and then pray the Holy Spirit does the rest. I prefer to believe in a different kind of miracle — humor, curiosity, and ideas that set the brain delightfully on fire.

I’m not a preacher, a guru, or some educational influencer. I’m just a guy who writes and draws the kind of things I wish I’d read when my head was bursting with questions and adults were bursting with the wrong answers.

My stories mix science, philosophy, sarcasm, and talking animals — because if a cat can explain quantum physics better than a bored teacher, why on earth wouldn’t we let him try?
